Backerkit Finally Opening

Hey folks! Just a quick update to let you know that after a LONG back and forth getting things "set" in Backerkit, Smoke Tests are finally out! 5% of you should be receiving these NOW! There were some issues that took a while with add ons/rewards that were the same as some of the add ons for Creature Companion (OSE edition). We were about resolved before Christmas, but the Backerkit team was off for the holidays. They went back into review Thursday. Issues are now resolved!
We will give it a couple days and if we don't hear about any issues, the remainder of the surveys will go out and we will open up pre-orders for those who missed the campaign!

December Update!

Hey folks,
I was hoping to hold out until smoke tests actually went out to get this update out there.
We had some hang ups with getting things out to Backerkit, then the debit card I use to make payments to them became compromised around the begging of the month. All of that is resolved and current estimate to see the smoke test for surveys is early to mid week THIS COMING WEEK! That said, once it has gone out, the remainder of surveys will go out and the pre-order store will open up.
One thing to say here, Demonology and Devilry are not being made available as add ons on this one. Because the Angelology pre-order will be opening up in mid-late January, we are keeping that trilogy together there.
Now, on to progress. As seems to happen when I make something, these are growing a bit. First off, more rules are being added to the "Contemplations" portion of Contemplations and Combat Conspectus. Second, a new race/peoople are being added to the book. This is the Firbolg as they appear in my own campaign. They are a good hearted giant-kin who are a proud warrior people! This is obviously an addition to Character Compendium.Third within the writing on Demonology and Devilry I mentoin pacts from time to time. With that I began to experiment with a magic that I have not yet worked on, pact magic. This did not go into either of the aforementioned books, but is going to be featured in Caster's Codex!
So, look for another update this coming week when we know that the smoke test has gone out!

Backerkit and Another Cover Preview

Hey there folks!
First off let's get the biggest current announcement out of the way. In the next couple days some of you will be getting your Backerkit surveys as part of a smoke test. After we get a few of those coming in we will release all of the surveys and get pre-orders going. Additionally, there will be many add ons here if there is something from our catalog you would like to toss into your order.
Remember, while we allowed for single books here to be purchased, these are meant to be a set. If you backed for only the Character Compendium, you will be missing the spells for new classes, as all spells and magic rules are in the Caster's Codex. New combat options (handy for those that want to beef up fighters) are in Contemplations and Combat Conspectus. So, you may wish to add books on.
That said, we are still plugging away at this one. I am awaiting the materials being written by other authors and still plugging away at a few things myself. Part of this is due to these books growing a bit in the writing. You are going to get "a bit" more content in some areas than what we advertised, as new ideas and things I wish I had included from the start hit me as I was writing. So, we are still plugging away. While we work to get to the final stages we will be keeping Backerkit and the preorder page open for everyone that wants to change or add things.
As far as realistic delivery, currently we are thinking that February is the time we should be able to start getting things out, with physical books later Feb/early March, pending printing and the PDFs earlier in February. Sorry this is a bit later, but I'm trying to make these books the best they can be. That said, if we can get "enough" preorders I am hoping to get sewn binding in all three books. It will be all three or nothing, as I want to keep them uniform.
Now that this is out of the way, here is the final cover image, both the cover and virgin art for Character Conspectus by Krystyna Nowek. Enjoy!

Backerkit Is Coming

Hello all! I just wanted to give you all a quick update that you should be on the lookout for emails from us at Backerkit for reward surveys in the very near future. I am thinking by this weekend. That is all for the moment! More to come soon.
Additionally, we would like to let you know that our new Kickstarter for the Mythos Manual bringing weird fiction and the Cthulhu Mythos to your OSE fantasy game, is currently on Kickstarter. We have the dated slated for October 2024, to get well ahead of the date, but anticipate fulfillment with be far ahead of that, based upon our current status on the projects we are rolling through now!
